    Alex Moe Flowers and New Talent Join P2 Public Affairs

    WASHINGTON, DC (November 5, 2025)  – P2 Public Affairs is proud to announce the addition of Alex Flowers, Bridget O’Brien and Anjali Jarral.  

    Alex Moe Flowers joins P2 as a Vice President, as covered by Politico this morning. Alex is a seasoned media and communications strategist with more than a decade of journalism experience covering Congress, campaigns, and breaking news for NBC News. A former Capitol Hill producer and political journalist, she led editorial coverage of the House of Representatives for seven years and played a central role in the network’s reporting on politics and policy. Alex traveled extensively covering campaigns in key battleground states and was a campaign embed reporter during the 2012 presidential election. While working as a field producer based in New York, she reported on countless stories including the Boston Marathon bombings, the Newtown shooting and the World Series. 

    Alex’s work has been Emmy-nominated and earned her an Edward R. Murrow Award for Breaking News. She holds dual bachelor degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Government & Politics from the University of Maryland.

    Bridget O’Brien joins P2 as an Associate. Bridget is a communications and leadership specialist. Most recently, she served as Miss Maryland 2024, leading statewide initiatives focused on youth empowerment. During her tenure, she worked with the American Heart Association, reaching more than 4,000 students with her signature message on redefining failure and building resilience. Her dedication to service was formally recognized on the Maryland State Senate floor for her impactful contributions to the community. Bridget earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of Alabama, graduating summa cum laude in 2024. She brings a dynamic blend of public speaking, advocacy, and strategic communication skills to her role at P2.

    Anjali Jarral joins P2 as an Associate. She has a background in public service, policy analysis, and community engagement. She previously served as Special Assistant to the Secretariat of Health and Human Resources within the Office of Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin. Anjali graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University, with a degree in Criminal Justice and double minors in Philosophy of Law and Business.

    WASHINGTON, DC (June 27, 2025)  – P2 Public Affairs is proud to announce the addition of five new team members, bringing top-tier experience in public affairs, strategic communications, and political strategy. These hires position P2 to further its ability to deliver results for clients at the highest level. 

    With over a decade of experience in political and government communications and policy, Kelsi Daniell joins P2 as a Vice President. She has served in senior roles on Capitol Hill, most recently as a Deputy Chief of Staff in the U.S. Senate. During the first Trump Administration, Kelsi was the national spokesperson for the Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency. Prior to working in the nation’s capital, Kelsi served in state government and helped lead two successful statewide campaigns in Arkansas. Kelsi holds a Bachelor of Arts in history and political science from Ouachita Baptist University. 

    A seasoned political consultant and media strategist known for her ability to deliver high-impact wins for high-stakes clients, Megan Fitzmartin joins P2 as a Vice President. She has deep experience working with statewide and national candidate campaigns, ballot initiatives, and SuperPACs. Most recently, Megan served as Senior Advisor to the Speaker of the Ohio House of Representatives, where she oversaw the policy and communications teams and built coalitions that drove major legislative victories. Previously, she worked at a nationally recognized media agency, partnering with clients on successful statewide campaigns across the country. Megan has also led winning efforts for the Ohio House Republican campaign organization across multiple cycles. She began her career in the Office of the Governor of Ohio, ultimately serving as the Director of Boards and Commissions. Megan holds a Bachelor of Arts in political science from The Ohio State University.

    A veteran political strategist with an extensive background in both communications and policy, Bess Toole joins P2 as a Vice President. Bess has crafted creative content and paid media strategies for candidates up and down the ballot and for causes across the country. She has served on statewide campaigns and as Chief of Staff to the previous Virginia House Majority Leader.  Most recently, Bess served as a Vice President at a national consulting firm, advising clients on policy issues before the Legislature and Executive Branch. She is a graduate of James Madison University with a degree in International Affairs and Political Communication. 

    With almost ten years of experience working on political and public affairs campaigns, Eloise Gibbens joins P2 as a Managing Director. She was previously the Vice President of Operations at a voter contact and public affairs firm where she oversaw messaging, design, and copywriting for various campaigns from statewide to national races, issue advocacy campaigns, and corporate work. Eloise has extensive experience developing creative concepts for various campaigns and enjoys working through this process with clients. Eloise holds both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Political Science from Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina. 

    Kendall McDermott joins P2 as an Associate. A graduate of Florida State University with a degree in Marketing, she has experience working on political campaigns and state political organizations. She is experienced in media monitoring and measurement.

These hires position P2 to further strengthen its ability to deliver results for its clients at the highest level.

    Michawn Nastro joins P2 as a vice president. Michawn brings a wealth of experience in public policy, strategic communications, and government affairs to the firm, further strengthening P2 Public Affairs’ ability to navigate complex policy landscapes and deliver results for clients. Prior to joining P2, Nastro served as the Policy Director for Nevada Governor Joe Lombardo, where she played a key role in shaping and advancing the administration’s policy agenda. She previously held leadership positions at the U.S. Department of Agriculture, working in the Trump Administration in the Office of U.S. Secretary Sonny Perdue as Communications Director. A Nevada native, she began her career in public service with former U.S. Senator Dean Heller and later served as an advisor on communications, strategy, and policy for U.S. Senators Roger Marshall, M.D. and Rob Portman.

    Tori Sachs joins P2 as a vice president. Tori brings over 15 years of experience in issue advocacy, political campaigns, communications, and government service. A proven leader in Michigan and national politics, Sachs has played a pivotal role in driving strategic initiatives across independent expenditure groups, nonprofits, and political organizations. Tori most recently founded and led her own communications consulting firm, advising state and national leaders on messaging and strategy. Prior to that, she served as Executive Director of multiple nonprofits, including the Michigan Freedom Fund, where she championed individual liberty and government accountability. Her extensive political experience includes managing John James’ U.S. Senate campaign, six years in Michigan’s Executive Office, and key contributions to two successful statewide gubernatorial campaigns.

    Cori Willson joins P2 as an Associate. Cori brings a dynamic background in marketing and communications, equipping her with a strategic perspective and a strong client-focused approach. She is a graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder.

These hires position P2 to further strengthen its ability to deliver results for its clients at the highest level. Leading this expansion is Chandler Smith Costello, an alum of Team Trump and Senator Thune, who is joining us as a principal and brings extensive experience in government, campaigns, and corporate communications.

    Chandler Smith Costello has a wealth of experience in high-level public affairs and strategic communications. Previously, Chandler was Deputy Director of Public Affairs for the Securities and Exchange Commission during the Trump Administration. Before her time at the Commission, she spent nearly a decade on Capitol Hill, serving as National Communications Director for Senate Majority Whip John Thune (R-SD), Communications Director for the Senate Republican Conference, and Communications Director for Sen. Dean Heller in both his official office and 2012 Senate campaign. A graduate of Vanderbilt University, Chandler’s expertise in public affairs and media strategy will be invaluable as P2 continues its rapid growth.

    Sarah Schwirian brings her expertise to P2 as a Vice President, focusing on public affairs and strategic communications. Most recently, she served as Deputy Campaign Manager for U.S. Senator Rick Scott’s historic re-election campaign, where she played a pivotal role in shaping and executing the campaign’s communications efforts.

    Will Hampson joined P2 as a Vice President, bringing a strong background in political communications and media relations. Will is a Jeff Sessions, Mo Brooks, Herschel Walker, Nancy Mace, and Rick Scott alumnus with experience crafting and executing winning press strategies. At P2, he will focus on delivering high-impact communications services for clients across a range of industries.

    Macy Gardner is joining P2 as a Managing Director, helping the firm expand into media relations and political communications. Macy joins P2 after a victorious cycle at the National Republican Congressional Committee serving as their Rapid Response Director. Macy has served on statewide and presidential campaigns and is a graduate of Florida State University. 

    Hayley Edmonds has come on board as a Managing Director, specializing in communications strategy and project management. She has experience in local, state, and national political campaigns, having also worked for the Georgia Republican Party, Republican National Committee, and a digital and public affairs consultancy. With a background in digital strategy and campaign operations, Hayley will be instrumental in managing P2’s growing portfolio of clients.

    Patrick O’Connell joins P2 as a Senior Associate providing client support as well as assisting with firm operations and compliance management. Patrick most recently served as the Operations Director on the Hovde for Senate campaign in Wisconsin. Patrick is a graduate of The College of William & Mary.

    Alexa Henning, Former Trump and Huckabee Sanders Advisor, Joins P2 Public Affairs

    Henning, who most recently served as Arkansas Governor Sarah Sanders’ Communications Director, joins P2 as Senior Vice President

    WASHINGTON, DC (August 7, 2024) – Today, P2 Public Affairs announced the addition of Alexa Henning, a top media and communications professional with more than 10 years of experience at the state and federal level. Henning will play a vital role in advising clients and securing results as P2 continues to build a team of media relations and storytelling experts.

    “I’ve counted on Alexa Henning since our earliest days together in the Trump White House,” said Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders. “She was a loyal staffer when I was Press Secretary, an effective adviser when I became Governor, and a good friend throughout. She brought experience at the highest level of political communications to the Governor’s Office and expertly navigated the first year and a half of my administration. I am deeply grateful for her service to the State of Arkansas and wish nothing but good luck to her as she takes this next step in her career.”

    Alexa is a seasoned political communications strategist with over a decade of experience across the highest levels of government and political campaigns. Most recently, she served as Communications Director to Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders. After over a year and a half of service to Governor Sanders, the Arkansas Democrat Gazette announced her departure on Tuesday. Prior to this role, Henning held key positions such as Deputy Chief of Staff and Spokesperson for U.S. Senator Ron Johnson from Wisconsin, as well as Senior Advisor to his successful 2022 re-election campaign.

    Henning’s prior significant roles include serving as Director of Media Affairs for the Donald J. Trump for President Campaign in 2020, and earlier, as Special Assistant to the President and White House Director of Broadcast Media during the Trump administration. She began her career in the office of U.S. Senator Ted Cruz of Texas and in Houston as part of his presidential campaign.

    A native of Dallas, Texas, Henning is a graduate of the University of Missouri, bringing a wealth of experience in strategic communication, governmental affairs, and political engagement to her roles.

    This week, P2 also announced the promotions of two long-time P2 veterans, Katherine Neal and Shelby Hanson. Neal was promoted to Senior Vice President and Hanson to Chief of Staff.
