WASHINGTON, DC (November 2, 2026) – P2 Public Affairs is proud to announce the addition of Allen Barrett as Senior Vice President.
Allen Barrett is a senior communications executive with nearly two decades of experience representing globally recognized organizations and startup companies in the sports and entertainment industry.
Barrett most recently served as Vice President of Event Communications for LIV Golf. From 2022 to 2026, Barrett led communications planning and on-site media operations for all of the league’s events across North America, Asia, Africa, Australia, Europe and the Middle East. He was one of the league’s earliest hires, and for more than three years he also led corporate communications for its 200+ full-time employees, partner agencies and event management companies. Barrett advised leadership, including their CEOs, as well as many of the sport’s best-known athletes. He also managed strategic communications with government bureaus, host venues and agency partners in more than 30 markets across a dozen countries.
Before LIV Golf, Barrett spent 13 years with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He was promoted four times across two tenures with the team and served as a trusted communications advisor to marquee players, executive leadership, head coaches and members of ownership. He was on the NFL’s Public Relations staff for three Pro Bowls and five Super Bowls, including the Buccaneers’ historic Super Bowl XLIII victory in Tampa.
In 2019, Barrett led communications and community impact for the startup XFL Tampa Bay Vipers.

Barrett graduated Cum Laude from Vanderbilt University with a Bachelor of Science in Human and Organizational Development, with a concentration in Leadership and Organizational Effectiveness.
