Alex Moe Flowers and New Talent Join P2 Public Affairs

WASHINGTON, DC (November 5, 2025)  – P2 Public Affairs is proud to announce the addition of Alex Flowers, Bridget O’Brien and Anjali Jarral.  

Alex Moe Flowers joins P2 as a Vice President, as covered by Politico this morning. Alex is a seasoned media and communications strategist with more than a decade of journalism experience covering Congress, campaigns, and breaking news for NBC News. A former Capitol Hill producer and political journalist, she led editorial coverage of the House of Representatives for seven years and played a central role in the network’s reporting on politics and policy. Alex traveled extensively covering campaigns in key battleground states and was a campaign embed reporter during the 2012 presidential election. While working as a field producer based in New York, she reported on countless stories including the Boston Marathon bombings, the Newtown shooting and the World Series. 

Alex’s work has been Emmy-nominated and earned her an Edward R. Murrow Award for Breaking News. She holds dual bachelor degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Government & Politics from the University of Maryland.

Bridget O’Brien joins P2 as an Associate. Bridget is a communications and leadership specialist. Most recently, she served as Miss Maryland 2024, leading statewide initiatives focused on youth empowerment. During her tenure, she worked with the American Heart Association, reaching more than 4,000 students with her signature message on redefining failure and building resilience. Her dedication to service was formally recognized on the Maryland State Senate floor for her impactful contributions to the community. Bridget earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of Alabama, graduating summa cum laude in 2024. She brings a dynamic blend of public speaking, advocacy, and strategic communication skills to her role at P2.

Anjali Jarral joins P2 as an Associate. She has a background in public service, policy analysis, and community engagement. She previously served as Special Assistant to the Secretariat of Health and Human Resources within the Office of Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin. Anjali graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University, with a degree in Criminal Justice and double minors in Philosophy of Law and Business.
