    Henning, who most recently served as Arkansas Governor Sarah Sanders’ Communications Director, joins P2 as Senior Vice President

    WASHINGTON, DC (August 7, 2024) – Today, P2 Public Affairs announced the addition of Alexa Henning, a top media and communications professional with more than 10 years of experience at the state and federal level. Henning will play a vital role in advising clients and securing results as P2 continues to build a team of media relations and storytelling experts.

    “I’ve counted on Alexa Henning since our earliest days together in the Trump White House,” said Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders. “She was a loyal staffer when I was Press Secretary, an effective adviser when I became Governor, and a good friend throughout. She brought experience at the highest level of political communications to the Governor’s Office and expertly navigated the first year and a half of my administration. I am deeply grateful for her service to the State of Arkansas and wish nothing but good luck to her as she takes this next step in her career.”

    Alexa is a seasoned political communications strategist with over a decade of experience across the highest levels of government and political campaigns. Most recently, she served as Communications Director to Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders. After over a year and a half of service to Governor Sanders, the Arkansas Democrat Gazette announced her departure on Tuesday. Prior to this role, Henning held key positions such as Deputy Chief of Staff and Spokesperson for U.S. Senator Ron Johnson from Wisconsin, as well as Senior Advisor to his successful 2022 re-election campaign.

    Henning’s prior significant roles include serving as Director of Media Affairs for the Donald J. Trump for President Campaign in 2020, and earlier, as Special Assistant to the President and White House Director of Broadcast Media during the Trump administration. She began her career in the office of U.S. Senator Ted Cruz of Texas and in Houston as part of his presidential campaign.

    A native of Dallas, Texas, Henning is a graduate of the University of Missouri, bringing a wealth of experience in strategic communication, governmental affairs, and political engagement to her roles.

    This week, P2 also announced the promotions of two long-time P2 veterans, Katherine Neal and Shelby Hanson. Neal was promoted to Senior Vice President and Hanson to Chief of Staff.

    Polling conducted by Republican polling shop P2 Insights for conservative nonprofit organization Building America’s Future from June 11-20, found Trump has extended his lead over Biden in Arizona, Georgia, Nevada, and Wisconsin since May and his conviction in his New York hush money trial.

    “After enduring wall-to-wall negative coverage of his historic trial and tens of millions in negative attack ads from the Biden campaign in recent weeks, Donald Trump still leads in five key battleground states across the country,” P2 Insights partner Ryan Tyson wrote in a Wednesday memo obtained by the Washington Examiner.

    WASHINGTON, DC (March 5, 2024) – Today, P2 Public Affairs announced the additions of Jordan Wiggins and Lindsey Curnutte, two top strategy and communications professionals with experiences across political and issue advocacy campaigns at the highest level. Wiggins will advise clients and lead new projects for the firm, bringing hard-earned political experience to P2’s client work. Curnutte will bring insightful communications and press strategy to meet the goals of each client as P2 continues to build a team of highly-experienced professionals with diverse backgrounds.

    Jordan Wiggins

    Jordan Wiggins has nearly 15 years experience at the highest levels of American politics. His work focuses on the true operational components of the toughest Gubernatorial, US Senate, and Presidential races.

    Wiggins served as Campaign Manager for US Senator JD Vance in the 2022 cycle, winning both a hard-fought Primary against 6 opponents and winning the General by 6 points. In addition to his statewide experience in Kentucky, Montana, South Carolina, and Virginia, Wiggins was the National Field Director for the NRCC, Iowa Field Director for Marco Rubio for President, and is an alum of American Crossroads/Crossroads GPS in Washington, D.C.

    Most recently, Wiggins was the Chief Operating Officer for the Never Back Down Super PAC which supported Ron DeSantis for President, and previously served as the PAC’s National Political Director. Wiggins also served as Deputy Campaign Manager on Ron DeSantis’ 2018 Governor’s race, where he helped overcome a 3.6% polling deficit to bring home a win.

    Wiggins and his wife Maggie are expecting their first child in spring of 2024.

    Lindsey Curnutte

    Lindsey Curnutte is an experienced communications professional having held senior roles on state and federal political campaigns, on Capitol Hill, and at issue advocacy organizations.

    Curnutte previously served as Communications Director for Rep. Ken Buck from Colorado and acted as the spokesperson for Heritage Action for America. She has a deep understanding of the press and media, and has been featured on national and regional TV and radio shows. She has also been published and quoted in various national publications.

    Curnutte most recently served as the Deputy Press Secretary on Ron DeSantis’ presidential campaign, managing the Governor’s media relations. She also served as Communications Director for DeSantis’ historic 2022 re-election campaign in Florida.

    She is a graduate from Ohio University and holds degrees in journalism and political science. She lives in the Washington, DC area.

    WASHINGTON, DC (February 27, 2024) – P2 Public Affairs today announced the additions of Ryan Tyson and Andrew Romeo, two top advisors to Ron DeSantis’ presidential campaign. Tyson will lead P2 Insights, the firm’s new research vertical that will provide clients with an all-around approach to data collection. Romeo will advise clients on all facets of communications and strategy as P2 continues to expand its efforts to provide first-class public affairs management services to a growing list of clients from across the country.

    Ryan Tyson 

    Most recently serving as pollster and a senior advisor to Ron DeSantis’ presidential campaign, Ryan began building his research apparatus over ten years ago and has brought unrivaled insight to Florida politics ever since. His long history in Florida politics includes serving in advisory capacities with Marco Rubio in 2016 and 2022, as well as senior advisor to the Trump campaign in Florida in 2020 and on DeSantis’ re-elect in 2022.

    The accuracy of Ryan’s polling operation and the depth of his strategic input turned swing state underdogs into red state winners, and those victories inspired him to expand beyond Florida and form the Tyson Group.     Andrew Romeo

    A seasoned communications professional who relishes a tough fight, Andrew Romeo has nearly a decade of experience navigating high-stakes political and issue campaigns.

    Most recently, Andrew served as communications director on Ron DeSantis’ presidential campaign where he had a lead role in revamping the campaign’s media strategy. Prior to that, he ran communications for the Republican State Leadership Committee and State Government Leadership Foundation in the 2021-2022 cycle. Andrew headed the RSLC’s television advertising in Virginia in 2021 when Republicans flipped the House of Delegates and lieutenant governor’s office.

    In 2020, Andrew served as North Carolina Senator Thom Tillis’ communications director on his successful re-election campaign, which was the then-most expensive U.S. Senate race in history. He has advised Senators, Congressmen, and state elected officials up and down the ballot on communications. Andrew holds a BA from Colgate University and resides in Arlington, Virginia.

    Washington, DC (September 27, 2023) – P2 Public Affairs today announced the addition of four new principals to the firm: Scott Paradise, Chris Hartline, Katie Miller, and Allison Harris. The four will play a crucial role advising clients and expanding strategic communications, crisis communications, and comprehensive public affairs management services.

    Scott Paradise, Principal

    Paradise joins the firm with nearly two decades of experience in high-leverage political campaigns and corporate public relations projects. A native Kansan and Georgia-transplant, Paradise founded a consulting and strategic communications firm in 2015 and has provided strategic consulting and communications support for top Senate and Presidential campaigns across the country.

    Scott has worked in a senior capacity on dozens of successful Senate, Gubernatorial, House and statewide campaigns, including Missouri Senator Josh Hawley, Kansas Senator Jerry Moran and Mississippi Lieutenant Governor Delbert Hosemann. Most recently, Scott guided Herschel Walker’s Senate Campaign in Georgia.

    Chris Hartline, Principal

    Hartline is a battle-tested communications professional with more than a decade of experience on political campaigns, in government, on both sides of Capitol Hill and advising major corporations and non-profits. He joins P2 with recent experience serving as a Senior Advisor to Florida Senator Rick Scott’s upcoming re-election campaign. Hartline has also served as Communications Director at the National Republican Senatorial Committee and Communications Director in the office of Sen. Rick Scott. Having served in a variety of high-profile communications roles on Capitol Hill and on campaigns around the country, Hartline possesses a deep and comprehensive understanding of the intersection between politics and policy and brings valuable talent to the firm.

    Katie Miller, Principal

    Katie Miller is a political advisor who served as Communications Director for the Vice President of the United States Mike Pence from 2020 to 2021. Previously, she served as his Press Secretary from 2019 to 2020. Miller has also served as Press Secretary for Senator Steve Daines, Spokeswoman and Communications Director for Senator Martha McSally, and Deputy Press Secretary for the United States Department of Homeland Security during the tenure of Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen from November 2017 to February 2019. She also served as Press Assistant for the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC).

    Allison Harris, Principal

    Harris joins P2 from the cable news network, News Nation, where she was the first White House Correspondent for the outlet. She is an Edward R. Murrow award-winning journalist with more than a decade of experience reporting live on breaking news and high-profile stories. Harris’s reporting has also been Emmy-nominated and recognized by the National Press Club.

    Harris has covered thousands of stories for viewers across the country from the White House, including on the COVID-19 pandemic, America’s exit from Afghanistan and the first war in Europe since World War II. Her broadcast journalism career was launched in local news, including in her hometown of Dallas, Texas at KDFW, where she covered Texas politics, Hurricane Harvey, Super Bowl LI, the NFL Draft and shootings in Dallas, Sutherland Springs, El Paso and Odessa.
