P2 Public Affairs Welcomes New Communications, Public Affairs and Political Talent

WASHINGTON, DC (June 27, 2025)  – P2 Public Affairs is proud to announce the addition of five new team members, bringing top-tier experience in public affairs, strategic communications, and political strategy. These hires position P2 to further its ability to deliver results for clients at the highest level. 

With over a decade of experience in political and government communications and policy, Kelsi Daniell joins P2 as a Vice President. She has served in senior roles on Capitol Hill, most recently as a Deputy Chief of Staff in the U.S. Senate. During the first Trump Administration, Kelsi was the national spokesperson for the Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency. Prior to working in the nation’s capital, Kelsi served in state government and helped lead two successful statewide campaigns in Arkansas. Kelsi holds a Bachelor of Arts in history and political science from Ouachita Baptist University. 

A seasoned political consultant and media strategist known for her ability to deliver high-impact wins for high-stakes clients, Megan Fitzmartin joins P2 as a Vice President. She has deep experience working with statewide and national candidate campaigns, ballot initiatives, and SuperPACs. Most recently, Megan served as Senior Advisor to the Speaker of the Ohio House of Representatives, where she oversaw the policy and communications teams and built coalitions that drove major legislative victories. Previously, she worked at a nationally recognized media agency, partnering with clients on successful statewide campaigns across the country. Megan has also led winning efforts for the Ohio House Republican campaign organization across multiple cycles. She began her career in the Office of the Governor of Ohio, ultimately serving as the Director of Boards and Commissions. Megan holds a Bachelor of Arts in political science from The Ohio State University.

A veteran political strategist with an extensive background in both communications and policy, Bess Toole joins P2 as a Vice President. Bess has crafted creative content and paid media strategies for candidates up and down the ballot and for causes across the country. She has served on statewide campaigns and as Chief of Staff to the previous Virginia House Majority Leader.  Most recently, Bess served as a Vice President at a national consulting firm, advising clients on policy issues before the Legislature and Executive Branch. She is a graduate of James Madison University with a degree in International Affairs and Political Communication. 

With almost ten years of experience working on political and public affairs campaigns, Eloise Gibbens joins P2 as a Managing Director. She was previously the Vice President of Operations at a voter contact and public affairs firm where she oversaw messaging, design, and copywriting for various campaigns from statewide to national races, issue advocacy campaigns, and corporate work. Eloise has extensive experience developing creative concepts for various campaigns and enjoys working through this process with clients. Eloise holds both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Political Science from Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina. 

Kendall McDermott joins P2 as an Associate. A graduate of Florida State University with a degree in Marketing, she has experience working on political campaigns and state political organizations. She is experienced in media monitoring and measurement.
