About Emily

Emily Benavides is a Republican communications operative, with more than a decade of Congressional and campaign experience. She most recently served as Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee Ranking Member Rob Portman’s Communications Director.

Emily advises clients using the communications, crisis, and strategic lessons learned in both chambers of Congress as well as on the Jeb! 2016 presidential campaign, Governor Rick Snyder’s re-election campaign in 2014, the 2012 Romney presidential campaign, and at the 2012 Republican National Convention in Tampa.

She currently resides in Washington, D.C. with her husband and daughter.
