Dave Abrams / Senior Advisor
Dave Abrams is a veteran communicator with nearly a decade of experience advising top political, government, and corporate entities on strategic brand development, media relations, crisis management, and targeted messaging campaigns.
Abrams most recently served as deputy executive director of the Republican State Leadership Committee, where he oversaw communications and messaging strategy and was instrumental in helping state Republicans navigate an exceptionally complex political climate in 2020. Prior to joining the RSLC, Abrams served as communications director at Americans for Prosperity, where he led paid and earned media campaigns in targeted U.S. Senate and gubernatorial races during the 2018 midterm elections and oversaw communications and marketing strategies for the broader Koch Network’s policy-focused engagement on health care reform.
Abrams has also held senior posts in competitive federal and gubernatorial elections, most recently advising communications and messaging strategy for former Georgia Senator David Perdue’s 2020 runoff campaign, and serving as chief spokesman and communications director for 2017 Virginia Republican gubernatorial nominee Ed Gillespie and New Hampshire Governor Chris Sununu during his first campaign in 2016 and for the launch of his administration. A proud New Jersey native, Abrams also served former Governor Chris Christie in a variety of communications roles on his 2013 reelection campaign, in the Governor’s Office, and during the 2016 Republican presidential primary.
